ARCHBISHOP CARL & CHRISTINE McCOMB

Archbishop-Elder McComb.jpg

We affirm Malachi 3:16-18 as our own personal mantra.

The Faithful Remnant

16 "Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.  17 “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. 18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not."

Archbishop Carl McComb is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, and a 24-year veteran of the United States Army.  His father was a Baptist minister, and as such, he is a “preacher’s kid.”  He received his formal education in the public school system of Madison County,  Alabama, before joining the Army in 1967.  He served at military installations in Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama, Korea, and West Germany.

Following retirement, he attended Florida Baptist Seminary and later earned a bachelor’s Degree in theology from Bethany Bible School in Dothan, AL.  In recognition of his ‘boots and Bible on the ground ministry,” he was awarded honorary Doctorate Degrees from Maranatha Bible College in Chennai, India, and Guadalupe Bible College in, San Antonio, TX.

Pastor McComb was licensed to preach in 1975, ordained in 1977, consecrated as a Bishop in 1994.  In 2003, the governing board of United Christian Fellowship, International recognized the need to consecrate him into the office of Archbishop; however, it was not until July 24, 2014, after much prayer and deliberation, that he was formally consecrated into the office of Archbishop. With this elevation, United Christian Fellowship, International became registered in the state of Alabama as an Archdiocese.  Archbishop McComb has  pastored in West Germany and Ft. Rucker (The Headquarters Place Chapel Gospel Hour Service), Brundidge, and Enterprise, Alabama, before founding of Daleville Christian Fellowship Worship Center in 1984.  The United Christian Fellowship International was birthed through this ministry, as Pastor McComb recognized the need for an umbrella organization for this and other independent churches.  In 2008, Archbishop McComb was led of the Lord to expand the ministry into the Dothan, Alabama, community; as such God led him in the founding of United Christian Fellowship Dothan.

During the course of the last decade, Archdiocese United Christian Fellowship, International has become a world-wide organization.  With the planting of one church in Chennai, India, and one church in Johannesburg, South Africa, churches have been planted in remote villages where indigenous people have never heard the name of JESUS.  Through the evangelism efforts and the financial support of the churches, many other churches have sprung up.  Sustenance is provided to those who need it to support their ministries, both nationally and internationally.

Archbishop McComb married Christine (Nails) McComb in 1972; the couple has one son, Christopher, and one granddaughter, Brianna Marie, and one grandson, Carter. CEO McComb, also affectionately known as Mother McComb, is a retired educator who has been consecrated to serve along-side her husband in full-time ministry.    The Lord has blessed them to become spiritual parents and grandparents to a multitude of sons, daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters.
